I’m Medha ❁ a Vancouver-based designer exploring the intersections of art, cognitive science, and human-centered design.
Art has always been a significant part of my life ☆ - it was my first and favorite hobby as a kid, and my only excuse to spend hours on my computer as a teen, digitizing all of my physical artwork using MS Paint :D. Soon after, I got introduced to GIMP in school that I realized the scope of digital art tools, but still only considered it to be a side hustle.
This lead me to the exploration into tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and the more I learned, the more this hobby grew into a passion ✧.
Today, I approach each project I do as an amalgamation of form and communication, drawing on both scientific understanding and creative intuition to make designs intentional and engaging. To me, design is not just about aesthetics but instead about the collaboration of beauty ✿ and functionality ✪, in order create meaningful experiences that shape the world.
